Cocktail Sauce
,
I've had plenty of cocktail sauces from stores to restaurant, east coast to west coast, from affordable to the expensive brands and I still couldn’t find the right combination to have with my shrimp. But today I think I found it. When you sit down and wonder what to add to your savory shrimp, I think of Sau-Sea cocktail sauce. I just found out about this sauce, but I read on their website (www.sauseafoods.com) that they have been around since 1948. What's interesting about their story is they claim to be the first to put shrimp in glass jars, ready to use, well prepared, and prepackaged. Let me tell you how I got this sauce My wife and I were at Kroger on Fish Day - you know what that day is, Friday. While walking around, we grabbed a shrimp platter for $20. Believe me a whole platter of shrimp for that price, it’s an amazing deal – I couldn’t believe it– the shrimp platter included Lemon pepper, Cajun, and original. I say finger-licking good and I’m not talking about KFC! – I think I found that package MMMMMMM – The shrimp was delicious, but that sauce was bangin', I couldn’t stop eating it! It had a tangy yet sweet taste, and a fresh palate of natural herbs, which kept me wanting more – double dipping my shrimp for more of that great taste - I couldn't help but to smack my lips! Now, today I want more! Can someone please help me find this desire in a cup. I looked everywhere on the internet and in every store near me, and no one has it. If I don’t get anymore of that sauce let me just say memorize is all I will have, but I stand by my word on this cocktail sauce. No CAP! Sau-Sea it the best cocktail sauce I've ever tasted!
